Mechanical Advisor
Provide technical expertise and guidance to student team members on design, fabrication, and assembly of the Olin College of Engineering's Baja SAE vehicle.
Review and analyze mechanical systems including chassis, suspension, drivetrain, and powertrain.
Offer solutions and best practices to optimize vehicle performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Assist with design calculations and ensure adherence to Baja SAE design rules.
Mentor and coach student members on mechanical engineering principles and problem-solving techniques.
Introduced underclassmen members of the team to GD&T standards, and played a pivotal role in helping helping move all drawings and mechanical documentation to align with industry standards.
Previous Role: Suspension Sub-Team Member
Design parts, drawings, and assemblies for front suspension geometry, brakes, and steering assemblies on off-road vehicle. As well as fabrication of parts using various machining techniques.
